The Bedlam Mission
The Bedlam Faction is an arts collective committed to play and dedicated to supporting community and connection through collaborative, inclusive projects. Our goal is simple: to create art that touches you where it hurts and where it tickles, to explore our own humanity with vigor, freedom and fearlessness, and then to share what we discover with as many people as possible by making our projects and plays enthralling, joyful and affordable.
Our means are unique. We have no director--the cast collaborates on all aspects of the play because the communal perspective is more comprehensive and rich than the individual perspective, and we believe that actors who are invested in every design, character, moment, and prop from curtain to curtain create a more passionate performance for you.
We play to entertain, to share, and to communicate our love of the language, ideas, and power behind the plays we perform. We offer honesty, celebration and community. We revel in the company of our audience as partners in our joy, and we invite every last one of you to join us.
