Bedlam
Faction:
We Do It
for Love

Reefer Cast

John Botti (Hot-Fingers Freddy; Pete Daly; Jury Foreman; Music Director)
Johnbo believes that the cooperative approach is the best means of accomplishing goals. That goes for plays, music, business, community-building, international diplomacy. Heck, pretty much anything. Peace, y'all.

Robert Deike (Jack)
Robert hates bios. First, he hates writing in the third person. Second, there are much more interesting things to be reading than an interminable catalog of stuff he’s done, that may have been good in their time, but are old history now. He’d rather call your attention to the play you’re about to see . . .

Liz Fisher (Mary Lane; Defense Lawyer)
Working with the Bedlam Faction can lead to bizarre reactions, like sudden paroxysms laughter and the insatiable desire to hit people with fireplace pokers. Liz would like to apologize to those who fell victim to her hopped-up violent dope fiend spree, but the rest of the cast had assured her that they were only herbal cigarettes.

Travis Hale (Darryl; Boss; Mr. Wyatt)
T-Rav is a founding member of the Bedlam Faction, and he is glad that he has never touched the demon weed, since he has plenty of other things in his life to drive him insane.

Travis Holmes (Jimmy Lane; Judge)
Travis says that working with the Bedlam Faction is like standing in a circle with a bunch of people, everybody taking their brains out of their heads and tossing them around for a while, but somehow you’re still standing up straight.

Yasmin Kittles (Blanche)
Yasmin once ate the equivalent of four reefer brownies – for the chocolate – and she just wanted to take this time to let the youth of American know that it is NOT WORTH IT. Stay in school. [To her Mom and Dad: This story was a lie. Nothing written was true. Except for the staying in school part. She loves school.]

Matt Kozusko (Dr. Carroll)
Matt Kozusko is a founding member of the Bedlam Faction with an indulgent weakness for chaotic group performance projects mounted against laughable odds with few resources, limited time, and no money. He recently completed a PhD in early modern drama and is happy to squander it on the stage with the Faction.

Elizabeth Mason (Agnes; Dr. Münch)
Elizabeth says: Working with the Bedlam Faction is a mind-altering experience, with or without marijuana. Thank you to all the kind souls I’ve met in this group and throughout the wide world.

Michael Mergen (Ralph)
Michael T. Mergen dedicates his performance to all the family members he has lost to the dreaded weed. You may have seen him in other plays around town. If so, thank you.

Shanna E. Smith (Mae)
While reefer may cause insanity, it can’t compare to the madness of teaching a statistics class, holding down a research consulting job, co-running a theatre company, and learning the ways of an alcoholic lounge singer. After this is over, Shanna is going to bed.

Dan VanHoozer (Bill Harper)
Dan-O is an Artistic Associate of the Bedlam Faction, and he thinks . . . it’s swell! He doesn’t know much about reefer except that it’s a scourge and dreadful and makes you feel great.

Ann Woodall (Mrs. Lane; Dr. Garbanza; Prosecuting Lawyer)
Where are Ann’s socks? Hey, pass it over here. Wanna dance? Smoke ‘em if you got ‘em.
